Bridges For Women | Donate Your Used Mac

With your support, we can help women who have been impacted by violence and abuse to rebuild their lives. Your generous donation of your used Mac devices equips participants in Bridges For Women Society’s retraining programs with vital tech tools they might otherwise not have access to.

Donate your used Mac or iPad and help women pave their path forward.

Mac Zen has partnered with Bridges for Women Society, a non-profit agency in Victoria serving women who are recovering from trauma and seeking independence through education and employment.

We’ve found that many of our clients, after upgrading their Apple devices, are unsure what to do with older Macs or iPads still in great working order. Donating them to Bridges is a powerful way to make a direct impact. Your contribution provides essential digital tools to women embarking on a new chapter.

Before donation, Mac Zen ensures each device is securely wiped and fully prepared for its next owner. Bridges for Women will issue a tax receipt for the fair market value upon request.

What we're looking for:

  • iMac (2017 or newer), iMac Pro (all), MacBook Air (2018 or newer), MacBook Pro (2017 or newer), Mac Pro (2019 or newer), Mac mini (2018 or newer), MacBook (2017)

  • iPads: 5th generation or newer (including iPad Air 3rd gen+, iPad Mini 5th gen+, and all iPad Pro models)

  • iPhones: iPhone 8 or newer (including iPhone SE 2nd gen+)

  • Devices must be in good working condition

  • Mobile devices should have at least 85% battery health

Please note that iPads and Macs must be released from Apple's "Find my…" feature, otherwise it will not be useable by anyone else. You may learn how to do this by following these instructions. If you prefer, we will be happy to assist you in the process when we respond to your donation request. To notify us of your donation, please proceed to the Contact Us page, and choose "I have a used mac or iPad…" from the "How can we be of service?" drop-down menu on the form.
